However, my passion in event has never declined as I ventured into promoter role ever since 18 years old. The manpower management and the accumulated experience induced me to start operating a Model Agency for 2 years as freelancer. The satisfaction of the successful choreography and clients’ continuously support in business, encourage me to expand my passion into Event & Marketing at the age of 23."

Why 'Red Velvet'?
A fengshui master advised Mandy that her company name shall start with ‘Red’ in order to ‘ONG, HENG, HUAT’ (in short – prosperity and wealth). And he suggested with ‘Red Carpet’, ‘Red Dragon’, ‘Red Sky’… they didn’t even sound ‘canggih’ and she declined. One day, Mandy went to Starbucks. While considering what to get for a quick bite, she saw ‘Red Velvet’ cake in the food display chiller. She thought ‘Red’ maybe can make her dream came true so she decided to name the company ‘Red Velvet'.
